Mirroring the Heavens

Just before our fellow Earth people chose to collectively start 2025 on the 1st of January, I had read that the names for the months of August, September, October and November were based on numbers. For example the word September comes from septem which in Latin translates as seven, October is octo → eight, November is novem → nine and December is decem → ten. This naming reminded me of how the days of the week are named after the seven planets that the ancient humans saw with their naked eyes.
